Hybridization

For this project, I conducted a thorough analysis of two case study projects: the Gando Primary School (modern architecture) and Montezuma Castle (vernacular architecture). My exploration delved into these projects’ environmental performance and their relationships with their respective sites. Following the creation of comprehensive section drawings for each case study, I leveraged computational design tools such as Grasshopper, Ladybug, and Dendro to generate a hybrid architectural form suitable for the cliffs of Arizona. This approach resulted in a new 3D model and section that synthesized key concepts from both case studies.
