These multi layered screen prints were created using both stencil and photo emulsion techniques. Starting from the basics, with single layered prints, the process of introducing multiple layers and colors was extremely fulfilling. The repetition involved in screen printing helped to ingrain this technique, while allowing the freedom to edit and modify prints along the way. The introduction of photo emulsion and the use of a dark room was a new experience which gave me the opportunity to get out of my comfort zone and discover a new method of artistic expression.
