Over the years I have found myself drawn to the color combination of charcoal, conte, and chalk. This combination was introduced to me back in high school and has become my go to medium. Conte is dynamic, it accentuates the darks and creates a multitude of textures. The following art works are still life drawings created with charcoal, conte and chalk combination, and/or classic pencil to paper.
