The Body & Movement

In this exercise, I explored the intricate connections between the human body and architectural forms. For my initial study, I opted to meticulously trace the fluid motions of a swinging tennis racket. By meticulously capturing and mapping these dynamic movements of the human body, I skillfully transformed the outcomes into innovative architectural structures, seamlessly integrating the grace of motion into architectural design.

I began by filming myself swinging a tennis racket, I then tracked the movement with a basic set of lines which represented my body and limbs during the motion.
